THE BOY WHO GREW A FOREST has just been awarded the Gold Medal for Young Children's Literature in the Florida State Book Award for 2019-2020. What an honor!
As stated by the awards committee: "The Florida Book Awards, coordinated by the Florida State University Libraries, is the nation’s most comprehensive state book awards program. It was established in 2006 to celebrate the best Florida literature."
