Nancy Paulsen and Caitlin Tutterow at Penguin Random House/Nancy Paulsen Books have acquired, in an exclusive submission, world rights to Creek Crawling by Sophia Gholz (l.) (The Boy Who Grew a Forest), illustrated by Nicole Wong, a picture book about a boy and his mother discovering all kinds of treasures as they spend a golden summer day together in the creek behind their house. Publication is slated for summer 2027; Liza Fleissig at Liza Royce Associates represented the author, and James McGowan at BookEnds Literary represented the illustrator.
